Process

1. Discuss

This is the first phase of the process.  This step entails discussing (face-to-face or on the phone, whichever you prefer) what 4d-media can offer your business.  This is where we will learn about what you currently offer your customers, and help you to determine the best way to represent yourself on the internet.  In this phase, we request that you provide us with any graphics and/or content you would like on your site that you may already have.  Following our discussion, we will email you an estimated project fee based on the expected amount of work to be performed and our fee of $35/hr.  Upon receipt of 50% of the higher end of the estimated project fee, we will begin the next phase.

2. Design

In this phase, we create a one-page mockup of the website using any graphics and/or text you have provided in addition to the ideas discussed in the first phase.  We email you a proof of the site and upon your approval, we begin the third phase.

3. Develop

In this phase, we build your website.  We do the necessary coding and programming so it functions as an integral part of your business.  We setup the content management system (typically Joomla or Drupal) to make it easy for you to make changes later on.  Often we find it best to use an available template as a launching point, and customizing it to suit your specific needs.  This saves us time and saves you money.  At this point we will also provide Search Engine Optimization and any other marketing techniques that we have agreed upon.

4. Deliver

In this final stage, we ensure your site meets (hopefully exceeds) your expectations and we calculate the number of hours we worked on it.  As soon as we recieve your final payment, your site goes live.
