What is LSI?

Latent Semantic Indexing refers to Google's ability to return search results relevant to the meaning of the keyword or keyphrase the user searches for.  This goes beyond merely returning pages that contain the exact keyword the user searches for and further enhances the user's experience of finding what they are looking for.
